A Sourcing Associate Manager for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Portage, MI area. This role supports the strategic sourcing process by leading cross-functional initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost, quality, and risk management strategies across assigned commodities.

responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of commodity strategies aligned with divisional goals.
- Assist in building world-class sourcing processes and systems.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams to create strategic commodity plans and supply base assessments.
- Participate in sourcing analysis, supplier selection, cost analysis, and make-vs-buy decisions.
- Contribute to contract development and negotiation processes; manage and enforce supplier contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
- Monitor market conditions and technology trends to inform strategy and drive business improvements.
- Apply market insights to recommend and implement cost controls.
- Ensure accurate cost standards are in place to support annual operating budgets.
