A Survey Technician is needed for a utility holding company in the Denver, CO area. This role performs and manages field survey operations while serving as the link between office and field teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant land data collection and documentation.

responsibilities:
- Conducts field survey activities, including: Plan and profile surveys, Topographic surveys, Boundary surveys, Construction staking.
- Responds to survey requests from different departments to gather precise property line, land contour, and facility data.
- Serves as the liaison between Engineering, Design, and Survey teams.
- Responsible for executing all field surveying tasks.
- Records survey data using electronic data collectors in the field.
- Downloads and transfers collected data to office computer systems.
- Researches land records and quickly resolves field discrepancies.
- Analyzes survey data to ensure accuracy of feature codes and line strings.
- Assists office staff in preparing final documents and survey drawings.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of survey methods, technologies, and instrumentation.
