A Quality Technician is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. This role ensures dimensional and documentation compliance of manufactured parts by conducting inspections at all production stages, using measurement tools, blueprint interpretation, and ERP systems to support quality and delivery objectives.

responsibilities:
- Inspect simple and complex manufactured parts for form, fit, function, and dimensional accuracy using blueprints and company inspection standards.
- Apply Good Documentation Practices (GDP) when completing or reviewing all quality records.
- Perform inspections at multiple stages: incoming, in-process, and final product.
- Review product certifications and approve them for shipment release within the ERP system.
- Maintain timely inspection workflows to meet outside processing and customer delivery deadlines.
- Issue DMRs/NCMRs for nonconforming material via ERP system.
- File electronic and hardcopy quality documentation in an organized manner.
- Assist the Lead Inspector and Quality Manager with various tasks as needed.
- Perform other assigned quality-related duties as necessary.
- High attention to detail and consistency.
- Experience with basic measuring equipment such as calipers or micrometers and other common inspection tools.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
- Experience in a smaller production environment.
- Some experience with Visual Measuring Systems desired.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Quality Inspection Experience (2 to 4 years) - Strongly Preferred
