A Quality Inspector in the Torrance, CA area is needed for a multinational power management company. This role involves inspecting aerospace components to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards, requiring proficiency in measurement tools, documentation review, GD&T, and IPC-A-610 certification.

responsibilities:
- Inspect aerospace components (incoming, in-process, and final) visually and dimensionally per drawings, QC specs, and customer/supplier requirements.
- Review and approve product documentation and paperwork for compliance.
- Generate inspection reports (manual or digital) to accept or reject products.
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin/thread gauges, surface plates, and optical comparators.
- Perform data processing and move transactions in relevant systems.
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Perform inspections according to IPC and J-STD standards.
