Join a global supplier in the semiconductor manufacturing industry and a Buyer in Fremont, CA. In this role you will coordinate purchasing activities within the manufacturing, planning and engineering divisions. Experience within an electro-mechanical environment with supply chain knowledge is critical for this role. This is a long term contract role.

responsibilities:
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments
- Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, and requests for quotes to suppliers
- Create and maintain bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management
- Perform cost analysis and volume planning
- 8+ years of buying/planning within electro-mechanical manufacturing products
- Experience managing the commercial and tactical aspects of supply chain requirements
