We're seeking a Field Applications Engineer in the Washington, DC area to join a rapidly growing ODM in the interconnect industry. The Field Applications Engineer is a subject-matter expert, developing relationships with customer stakeholders for data center power solutions, and providing in-depth support, solution design guidance, and product implementation troubleshooting.

responsibilities:
- Subject-matter expert for data center power solutions
- Solves technical issues through analysis and replication
- Modifies 3D CAD drawings
- Works with internal and external cross-functional teams to report technical issues and drive business objectives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a technical or sales environment.
- Understanding of High-Power architecture and components for datacenter, networking, storage, and computer technologies.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or CREO is preferred for design and documentation.
- Familiarity with the IT infrastructure Industry, CSPs, and ODMs is a plus.
