Seeking a Planner Scheduler for a high growth aerospace manufacturing client in the Hartford, CT.
The Planner Scheduler is responsible for Production Scheduling & Control: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed production schedules and work orders (WOs) for assigned value streams and product lines using SAP. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Supervisors to sequence daily work, Purchasing/Supply Chain to expedite material delivery, and Engineering to incorporate design changes (ECN) into the schedule.

responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling & Control: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed production schedules and work orders (WOs) for assigned value streams and product lines using MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Capacity Planning: Analyze production specifications and plant capacity to ensure realistic and achievable schedules. Identify and proactively resolve potential bottlenecks, material shortages, and resource conflicts that could impact delivery.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Supervisors to sequence daily work, Purchasing/Supply Chain to expedite material delivery, and Engineering to incorporate design changes (ECN) into the schedule.
- Program & Project Support: For certain programs, assist in the creation and maintenance of a formal Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Perform critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments to drive program milestones.
- Performance Reporting: Generate and present weekly and monthly reports on key metrics, including Schedule Attainment, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and inventory levels, providing analysis and mitigation recommendations to management.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion and implement Lean/Six Sigma principles within planning processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and optimize inventory turns.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accuracy and integrity of planning parameters, bills of material (BOMs), and master data within the SAP system.
