Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry is looking for a Fire Protection Engineer in the Anaheim, CA area. Key qualifications include, experience in design, construction, and/or consulting of fire protection systems, full awareness and working knowledge of Building & Fire Codes and NFPA Codes & Standards. A Professional Engineer License is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required.

responsibilities:
- End-to-End Technical Leadership: Serve as the Owner's Representative from concept to sustainment, providing expertise in engineering design, code compliance, and life-cycle cost analysis.
- Design & Project Management: Manage contract documents and coordinate with internal/external resources to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with scope.
- Technical Quality Assurance: Review system designs, engineering calculations, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and strict adherence to applicable codes and statutes.
- Field Engineering & Maintenance: Provide on-site support for installations, troubleshooting system downtime, and conducting root cause failure analyses or fire hazard assessments.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams to enforce Disney design standards and maintain consistent communication to ensure successful project execution and documentation.
