A Process Piping Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Portland, OR area. This is a Senior Process Piping Designer role for a 3D modeling expert with 10+ years of experience, specializing in complex industrial piping systems (ideally within the semiconductor sector) using CADWorx or Revit.

responsibilities:
- Design and develop detailed 3D piping models and mechanical equipment layouts using CADWorx or Revit.
- Collaborate with lead designers and cross-functional engineering teams to produce comprehensive 3D piping plans.
- Coordinate model space with other disciplines to ensure interference-free integration of systems.
- Design complex process mechanical piping, including industrial waste and high-purity water systems.
- Create specific pipe installation details and engineered pipe support designs.
- Utilize Navisworks for model reviews, coordination, and clash detection.
- Apply semiconductor or microelectronics industry experience to specialized facility layouts.
- Manage design tasks independently as a self-motivated professional to meet project milestones.
- Maintain organized project documentation and communicate technical requirements effectively across the team.
- Ideal candidate will have recent experience and be an advanced user of CADWorx or Revit 3D design software and Navisworks.
- Must be well organized with strong communication skills.
- Ideal candidate will have experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste and high purity water systems a plus.
- Microelectronics (Semiconductor) experience a plus.
- Experience with pipe installation details and pipe supports, a plus.
