A Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is needed for an American multinational company specializing in transportation, e-commerce, and business services in the Washington, D.C. area. This role will oversee the maintenance operations for multiple sortation sites by managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.

responsibilities:
- Manage the selection, training, scheduling, and performance of facility and material-handling vendors across multiple sites.
- Evaluate vendor quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness for all troubleshooting and repair work.
- Coordinate all preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance via the company work-order management system.
- Conduct regular PM audits, facility evaluations, and property assessments to provide vendor feedback.
- Monitor all maintenance spending against budgets, ensuring proper categorization of expenses and account codes.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory, including ordering and tracking across several facility warehouses.
- Develop scopes of work, source materials, and obtain bids for facility improvement projects.
- Collaborate with project engineering during expansions and relocations to ensure lease and contract compliance.
- Review and resolve all safety inspection findings to ensure local and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyor systems, motors, and PLC controls.
- Master specialized equipment such as barcode readers (SWAK) and camera tunnels (AutoDim).
- Provide emergency technical support and develop disaster recovery plans for assigned facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

- Knowledge of motors, motor control methods, and associated components.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and computer control systems.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associates degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology or business administration or management field.
- Preferred with 10+ years experience.
