A Test Reliability Technician is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Phoenix, AZ area. This is technical role focused on the assembly, testing, and documentation of aircraft components while ensuring strict adherence to blueprints, safety standards, and quality protocols.

responsibilities:
- Plan, assemble, disassemble, and rework various aircraft components and systems.
- Perform engineering development and qualification tests to verify product specifications.
- Analyze and evaluate test results to ensure all required parameters and tolerances are maintained.
- Execute functional testing following part-specific, pre-established test procedures.
- Monitor tests through completion, recording precise data and servicing test equipment as needed.
- Document all acceptance or failure results clearly and accurately.
- Operate simple hand tools, machine tools, electronic test equipment, and mechanical measuring devices.
- Perform the proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment into designated test beds.
- Comply with quality system elements and participate in continuous improvement (ACE) initiatives.
- Meet strict internal and external customer deadlines as determined by the project team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and hazardous waste disposal programs.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
- Develops basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
- Utilize computer tools such as SAP to follow work instructions and track production schedules.
- Interface with cross-functional groups to resolve business issues or update project statuses.
- Tasks are routine/repetitive in nature, requiring limited judgment.
- High School Diploma.
- In the absence of a High School diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
