Established and successful aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Processing Center Director of Operations to add to their team. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can direct the entire lifecycle; from equipment installation and staffing to long-term P&L ownership. The ideal candidate will possess strong cross-functional leadership and project management expertise, financial acumen and the ability to build systems from the ground up. Direct experience in aerospace processing operations (i.e. plating, ionizing, paint) and leadership required, as well as a background in aerospace manufacturing, outside processing operations and machining. Engineering experience or degree preferred but not required. Relocation provided for the right candidate. Excellent company culture, medical benefits, PTO and 401K with company match.

- Lead the setup and operational execution of a new aerospace processing operation providing specialized, secondary and finishing operations.
- Drive and oversee operational and strategic responsibility for launching and leading facility build, setup, equipment installation, process development, certification and staffing for the facility
- Develop and execute long-term growth strategy
- Manage production efficiency and regulatory compliance and lead cross-functional teams
- Significant leadership experience in the aerospace/aviation industry, specifically aerospace processing operations including plating, paint, ionizing...
- strong cross-functional leadership, project management expertise, financial acumen
- Ability to build a new facility and its systems from the ground up; oversee the transition from a "greenfield" setup to a fully operational, high-volume production center
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or manufacturing discipline or similar preferred but not required
