An Electrical Engineer is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Phoenix, AZ area. This role combines high-level technical troubleshooting and diagnostics with leadership responsibilities, such as coaching technicians and managing customer-facing project demands.

responsibilities:
- Perform research, development, design, and testing of electrical components and systems.
- Create and optimize Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts for various applications.
- Design electronics packaging for commercial, industrial, and governmental equipment.
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain specialized test equipment to ensure operational accuracy.
- Manage and prioritize customer requests and demands in a timely manner.
- Coach and provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
- Generate basic technical reports and documentation for projects and stakeholders.
- Evaluate electrical facilities, products, and networks for performance and safety.
- Apply deep understanding of electronics principles to product lifecycle development.
- Typically requires an advanced degree.
