We are looking for an EHS Specialist to champion our safety and environmental initiatives. You will be a key driver in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring our operations remain a safe and compliant environment for every team member.
Qualified candidates will have a BS in Safety (or related discipline) and 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to identify health and safety opportunities and provide technical expertise on regional and national regulatory standards.
- Facilitate comprehensive accident and near-miss investigations, producing detailed root-cause analyses and implementing decisive mitigation strategies.
- Manage all essential documentation, including compliance audits, OSHA recordkeeping, and environmental reporting such as SARA and TIER II.
- Lead new hire safety orientations, facilitate annual employee training, and organize monthly safety committee meetings to keep the team engaged and informed.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical or regulatory issues to a diverse audience.
- Proficient in standard office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 511 and 501 Outreach Trainer certifications
