In this position, you will analyze wiring diagrams and project specifications to determine precise material and labor costs while ensuring all customer-mandated deadlines are met. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of estimating experience and a solid foundational knowledge of electrical and construction processes. responsibilities:
- Interprets wiring diagrams and project blueprints to identify necessary equipment
- Calculates comprehensive costs for materials and labor using internal data and vendor quotes
- Drafts formal written proposals and compliance documents for customers
- Audits project specifications to identify errors or required technical exceptions
- Coordinates with Purchasing and HR to ensure all pricing data remains current
- Tracks submitted bids by communicating with Business Development and verifying purchase orders
- Organizes technical documentation to ensure all customer-mandated time schedules are met
- Collaborates with the Lead Estimator to refine bid accuracy and project scope
