An Associate Project Manager for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed. Remote work. responsibilities:
Program and Project Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution activities for the acquisition integration project.
- Partner closely with Global Procurement and GPC leadership to ensure alignment.
- Define integration scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that include all tasks, owners, dependencies, and milestones.
- Monitor programs and workstreams from initiation through completion to ensure they remain on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, including critical paths and long-term timelines.
- Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), taxonomy documentation, and Gantt charts.
- Analyze schedule risks and critical path impacts to identify issues early.
- Implement mitigation actions to address project delays or risks.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, steering committee updates, and status reviews.
- Act as the primary interface between Global Procurement, GPC Costa Rica, and internal customers.
- Ensure timely communication across all functions affected by the acquisition transition.
- Provide leadership to direct reports and cross-functional contributors supporting transition activities.
- Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all integration workstreams.
- Guide team performance, workload planning, and prioritization throughout the transition.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 or more years of experience in project or program management.
- Preferred experience within transformation, integration, or supply chain environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Expertise in working with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and critical path methodology.
