A Procurement Specialist is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Horicon, WI area. This role requires 2-5 years of experience to manage the end-to-end sourcing, quoting, and inventory tracking of prototype parts while utilizing EPDP/EOFP processes and data analysis to optimize supplier performance.

responsibilities:
- Support the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) for low-complexity commodities.
- Procure experimental and prototype parts by identifying potential sources and requesting quotes.
- Analyze sourcing options and cost models, including make vs. buy studies and spend analysis.
- Issue purchase orders and track order progress to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to address chronic supplier performance issues and validate new vendors.
- Work with factory teams to label, store, stage, and track experimental part inventory.
- Conduct complex data analyses and quality inspections requiring independent judgment and discretion.
- Resolve invoice issues and complex queries from internal customers or external suppliers.
- Execute supply chain planning activities within defined organizational frameworks and regulatory codes.
- Procurement/Purchasing background.
- Quote request experience.
- Supplier/Source identification/selection experience.
