An Electrical Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in Moon Township, PA, Portland, OR, or Tempe, AZ areas. The Electrical Designer utilizes Revit MEP and AutoCAD to engineer complex power, lighting, and fire systems for high-tech facilities like semiconductor plants and data centers.

responsibilities:
- Performs computer-aided drafting and design for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
- Utilizes Revit MEP and AutoCAD to create complex 3D models, 2D layouts, and technical sketches.
- Delivers comprehensive design packages for advanced facilities, including semiconductor plants and data centers.
- Manages electronic document files and ensures version control across project lifecycles.
- Collaborates with a dynamic team to meet world-class design standards for global clients.
- Applies knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure design compliance and safety.
- Translates project requirements into detailed electrical system models and construction documents.
- Executes multi-tasking and high-level organization to meet tight deadlines for complex manufacturing projects.
- Participates in the development of state-of-the-art facility layouts from initial concept to final delivery.
- Works within a collaborative environment to troubleshoot design gaps and optimize system routing.
- strong Revit skills required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Two-year Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 4 years of electrical design experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Revit design experience.
- At least 2 years of semiconductor experience.
