An Electrical Engineer is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in Duluth, MN or Houston, TX areas. This role will oversee the design and engineering of liquids pump station facilities, managing third-party consultants to ensure technical compliance, budget adherence, and seamless coordination between operations and construction.

responsibilities:
- Manage third-party engineering firms for facility expansion and maintenance projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with company standards, industry codes, and safety regulations.
- Design and oversee electrical components and system interconnects.
- Review and approve technical drawings, reports, and material listings.
- Lead design review meetings focusing on scope, performance, and constructability.
- Evaluate vendor quotes for equipment like pumps, motors, generators, and piping.
- Select materials based on technical merit, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate requirements between Project Execution, Operations, and Shared Services.
- Identify and document quality incidents and project lessons learned.
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
- Problem solve issues through use of standards, modification of standards and/or previous experience.
- Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
