Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 100% onsite role in Charlotte, NC, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate. You will lead large-scale engineering design teams for complex industrial projects, specifically overseeing the creation of comprehensive drawing packages and technical deliverables. responsibilities:
- Experience managing mid-large capital power projects, with specific experience in combined cycle power plants. Project experience should involve management of multiple engineering disciplines and vendor management from early phases of project through start-up and commissioning.
- Management of overall engineering delivery across disciplines, with coordination across procurement, construction, and logistics.
- Monitoring, reporting, and controlling project engineering costs and schedule through all phases of the Project.
- Execute of all aspects of the project including managing the staff, providing vision and strategic leadership, monitoring project schedules and budgets, evaluating project productivity and quality and directing the complete technical operations of the project.
- Experience in successfully managing and executing engineering work with overseas High Value Engineering (HVE) offices.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 15 to 20 years of experience on Power projects, specifically combined cycle.
- Combined cycle EPC project experience required, including gas turbine, HRSG, and steam turbine scope. Simple cycle-only experience will not be considered.
- At least 8-10 years as a Project Manager.
