REMOTE! Our client is seeking a Structural Designer to lead the development of complex 3D Revit and Inventor models. This role requires at least 10 years of industrial drafting experience (or 5 years with a relevant degree) and a mastery of the Autodesk suite. You will ensure technical precision across building systems while maintaining compliance with strict nuclear security standards.

responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify high-fidelity 3D Revit and Inventor models, including 2D drawings, section details, and tolerance stack-ups for structural building systems.
- Collaborate with the BIM Coordinator to manage and issue models within the Autodesk Construction Cloud while strictly enforcing the project's configuration management plan.
- Apply in-depth structural knowledge to integrate designs with mechanical piping, HVAC, and electrical interfaces, ensuring all parts and assemblies support manufacturing and tooling.
- Utilize analytical thinking and technical expertise to execute design strategies, sourcing data from internal and external teams to inform critical project decisions.
- Serve as a primary Drafting/Modeling Checker to guarantee all deliverables comply with industry best practices, drafting procedures, and established project schedules.
