responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site inspections at homes and businesses to evaluate infrastructure and plan necessary distribution upgrades (e.g., pole-to-pole, pole-to-house) for solar connections.
- Create, update, and revise 2D and 3D models, sketches, and working drawings utilizing CAD software and GIS systems based on engineering and architectural guidelines.
- Review maps, blueprints, and supplier specifications to develop project plans, prepare bills of material, and provide accurate cost estimates to the engineering group.
- Act as a face of the company in the field, clearly communicating with customers and ensuring all site checks are completed while managing multiple active project profiles.
- Support the timely progression of construction issues by preparing project documentation, schedules, and assisting engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals.
