Automation Technician needed for immediate first shift contract role in the Bradenton, FL area with an awesome organization!
This person will build state of the art automation equipment based on blueprint & schematics and have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or controls issues during the build. Must have a proven mechanical mindset, at least 2+ years of related experience, and be comfortable using tools such as multimeters, calipers/micrometers, and mechanical tools.
The right person for this role will have an excellent team attitude, natural engineering curiosity and passion for a job well done. Any previous experience working with robotics or point to point wiring is a huge plus!

responsibilities:
- Build linear rails, gearboxes, and precision automation equipment from blueprint & schematics
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or controls issues
- Follow SOW's for assembly of electromechanical products
- Use precision measurement to guarantee best quality of assembly
- Perform point to point wiring of control panels using electrical schematics
- Follow SOW's for assembly of electromechanical products
- Actively participate in project huddles for scheduled timelines with enthusiastic attitude
- Minimum of a High School Education along with 2 years related electromechanical automation
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as multimeters, calipers/micrometers and other mechanical tools
- Familiarity with motion controls such as servo motors, drive and other automation controls
- Ability to read mechanical drawings 2D and 3D along with electrical schematics
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues
- Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired
- Proven computer skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
