Looking for a Construction and Safety Manager in San Jose, CA. Join Our Client, a top 3 R&D investor in Life Sciences! We need an on-site leader with a BS degree, 10+ yrs cleanroom construction experience, and OSHA 30 to lead a $25M capital project.

responsibilities:
- Manage general contractors and site activities for capital cleanroom projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Drive the safety program with a zero-incident goal, conduct QA inspections, and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Oversee the general contractor's permitting, building inspections, and strictly enforce approved project specifications and procedures.
- Coordinate change management, evaluate contractor estimates, and negotiate change orders for stakeholder approval.
- Track project KPIs, provide regular progress updates to project management, and seamlessly collaborate with EHS and other critical teams.
