responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive civil and structural engineering design for substation and transmission facilities to ensure timely, on-budget construction.
- Develop detailed civil plans for substation sitework, including grading, off-site improvements, drainage, fencing, and landscaping.
- Perform precise calculations and prepare designs for substation steel structures, foundations, and control enclosures.
- Execute transmission line engineering, encompassing route selection, structure loading, foundation design, and conductor sag calculations.
- Specify materials, evaluate bid documents and technical submittals, and assemble complete construction packages.
