responsibilities:
- Design and execute Failure Analysis (FA) experiments and compile detailed reports to troubleshoot wafer defects and drive defect reduction across key R&D programs and customer escalations.
- Operate, align, and maintain critical metrology tools including Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) and Focused Ion Beams (FIB) to perform precision sample preparation, imaging, and EDS analysis.
- Partner with engineering teams on wafer evaluations, interact with vendors to evaluate new metrology tools, and coordinate essential equipment repairs and supply orders.
- Develop Best Known Method (BKM) procedures, generate comprehensive technical documentation, train junior engineers, and host internal knowledge-sharing forums to elevate team expertise.
