Looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Remote/Boise). Requires a Chem/Mech Eng BS and 2+ yrs facilities design experience. This is primarily a remote position, though the successful candidate will need to work onsite for 50% of the first month, thereafter reducing to one week onsite per month. responsibilities:
- Establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure.
- Provide design and oversight for piping, equipment water, wastewater, process chemicals, and gases in densely packed industrial facilities.
- Retrofit existing building systems by performing engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and component selection.
- Act as the multi-discipline team representative to edit specifications and review design packages, including P&IDs and layout drawings.
- Review vendor submittals, RFIs, and construction documents on behalf of Our Client to ensure project delivery.
