A Senior Quality Coordinator is needed for a leading Construction Organization outside of Columbus, OH. The Sr QA QC Coordinator will implement and manage aspects of the project's quality control program. In this role, you will oversee daily quality procedures and coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure construction and commissioning meet all project standards. By managing documentation and leading inspections, you will actively mitigate project risk and ensure critical energization dates are met.
Candidates must possess 3+ years of office or field construction experience on projects of a similar size and scope, ideally with MEP works. Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, BIM360, and Smartsheet is required, along with a familiarity with material testing protocols for concrete, soils, and structural steel. While not mandatory, industry certifications are highly preferred. This is a direct-hire role and relocation is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily project quality control program, monitoring construction activities and material deliveries for compliance
- Execute field inspections with trade partners, lead weekly quality walks, and manage equipment tracking tools to update inspection statuses
- Create, document, and distribute all checklists, deficiency logs, punch lists, and meeting minutes on the administrative side
- Participate in trade pre-installation meetings to verify quality requirements and review submittals before work begins on-site
- Communicate schedule durations and due dates with subcontractors, consultants, and owner representatives to facilitate field issue completion
- Coach and mentor junior quality team members while seeking opportunities to grow into expanded leadership roles
