responsibilities:
- Set up, program (e.g., Calypso), and troubleshoot CMM equipment while utilizing precision hand tools to perform comprehensive dimensional analyses and inspections.
- Analyze and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, models, and GD&T to ensure accurate manufacturing standards.
- Document inspection results to generate formal quality reports, including FAIRs, while maintaining strict tool calibration and standard safety procedures.
- Identify nonconformances, communicate critical findings to engineering and production teams, and actively support root-cause investigations.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and provide hands-on training to operators and inspectors on print reading and proper measurement techniques.
