responsibilities:
- Lead the design development for mechanical systems and buildings, acting independently to identify project goals, solve problems creatively, and drive the project forward.
- Create, coordinate, and publish comprehensive project deliverables, including 3D models, plans, details, flow diagrams, and equipment arrangement diagrams.
- Supervise, back-check, and review the work of entry-level designers and early career engineers for accuracy, while providing technical mentorship and guidance.
- Drive cross-discipline coordination with internal and external trades, and actively present updates in mechanical design meetings.
- Perform code research, assist with engineering calculations under an engineer's guidance, and ensure all designs strictly adhere to project specifications.
