Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer in Clarksburg, WV for a 6 month contract assignment, to drive the mechanical installation of large industrial facilities or combined cycle power plants. Requiring a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and 3+ years of field experience, this role bridges design and execution, ensuring multidisciplinary integration and safety.

responsibilities:
- Support field construction activities, with a focus on mechanical installation and execution
- Coordinate daily work activities between home base engineering, on-site engineering, and construction teams
- Interface with mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical teams to ensure proper system integration
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation
- Ensure field installations comply with projects standards, codes, and safety requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience in field engineering, industrial construction, or power generation
- Experience in power generation, energy, or industrial projects
