responsibilities:
- Lead the development of complex thermal, structural, and thermo-mechanical simulation models for current-carrying products to optimize manufacturing and designs.
- Deploy advanced FEA techniques using tools like Ansys Workbench and LS-DYNA to validate concepts, ensure robustness, and analyze system temperature distributions.
- Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to successfully correlate finite element analysis (FEA) results with physical test data.
- Direct cross-functional teams to address intricate design and manufacturing challenges, using complex simulation results to drive process and design improvements.
- Utilize Design of Experiments (DOE) and optimization techniques to enhance product development, ensuring simulation models are continuously updated for optimal accuracy.
