A Project Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization outside of Lexington, KY. The Project Engineer will investigate, design, and execute equipment installation projects across green-field and brown-field manufacturing environments. This 100% onsite role is responsible for managing project feasibility, scopes, budgets, and schedules while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet key installation milestones. You will maintain field presence to supervise contractors and coordinate installation efforts with skilled trades, engineers, and equipment manufacturers.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, a technical trade certification, or equivalent experience, alongside at least 3+ years in a manufacturing environment and 3 years of project management experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience reading and reviewing technical drawings is strictly required, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and bid specification development. Leadership or trade management experience is essential, and candidates must be open to 10% international travel for meetings and observations. This is a long-term contract role and our client is only seeking local talent currently.
