Architectural Design Specialist is needed for an immediate remote temp-to-hire role for a national organization in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role designs and develops exterior façades and signage, for retail locations producing architectural renderings and documentation that align with brand standards, site conditions, and regulatory requirements.
The right person for this role will have skills using Photoshop to perform commercial rendering design as well as proven problem-solving and collaboration skills in order to interpret architectural plans, coordinate with landlords and municipalities, and ensure compliance with codes and guidelines. The position requires excellent organizational skills as the specialist manages multiple projects simultaneously, maintains schedules, organizes documentation, and supports cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

responsibilities:
- Produce architectural renderings of façade elevations using digital tools (Photoshop) and artistic skill
- Produces signage exhibits within local code that is in line with the brand to communicate design intent
- Solves design issues and produce architectural renderings and façade finish documentation specific to each store site
- Run projects simultaneously keeping on pace with overall real estate and legal timelines with little oversight
- Oversee execution and completion of all AME deliverables in accordance with project timelines in and independent manner
- Document and organize files into Lucernex and Smartsheet and department folders
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media or 1-3 years relevant experience
- 2D 3D rendering experience using Photoshop, Sketchup, AUTOCAD, Bluebeam, or other rendering software
- Ability to effectively communicate with municipal officials, landlords, internal and external clients, contractors
- Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Must be able and willing to occasionally travel to sites to record site conditions, materials, and needed dimensions to produce required execution documentation
