responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end deployment and develop precise settings for automated field devices, including Eaton Cooper capacitor bank controllers and SEL protection devices.
- Perform complex distribution system modeling utilizing Synergi or CYME to determine optimal locations and settings for capacitor banks and reclosers.
- Support the communications and comprehensive integration testing of field devices into Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS).
- Maintain accurate automated field databases, proactively monitor device performance, and utilize issue trackers to communicate field challenges to management.
- Serve as a key technical resource for field personnel, collaborating closely with design and operations teams, while coordinating distinct phases of small-to-medium engineering projects.
