Our client is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Charlotte, NC to lead dynamic energy infrastructure projects. In this high-impact role, you will oversee project execution, drive project controls, and deliver top-tier EPC solutions for utility-scale power generation operations. A PE license and excellent client-facing expertise are required for this position. Relocation assistance is available.

responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor an engineering team of 15 while driving technical excellence across large-scale generator and power projects.
- Direct EPC execution phases, integrating robust project controls to ensure budget, schedule, and design compliance.
- Serve as the primary client interface, collaborating directly with project managers, multidisciplinary teams, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee calculations, structural deliverables, and major equipment procurement while providing technical support during startup.
