responsibilities:
- Partner with Sourcing and Engineering to qualify and approve suppliers for Aero gas turbine components, validating manufacturing process plans and quality controls.
- Define and execute product/process qualifications following strict requirements, leading First Article Inspections (FAI) and monitoring ongoing process capabilities.
- Manage Supplier Deviation Requests (SDRs), evaluate nonconformances, and lead containment, rework, and recovery actions across supplier and field sites.
- Analyze Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) data and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEAs to drive robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct quality system, product, and process audits at supplier facilities, ensuring strict compliance with QMS standards and regulatory requirements.
