Our client is seeking a results-driven Quality Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Pleasant Prairie WI. This person will elevate standards across new and existing manufacturing processes. You will lead APQP and PPAP initiatives, drive root cause analysis, maintain IATF 16949 compliance, and manage key customer relationships. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree or equivalent experience alongside hands-on quality tool mastery.

responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages and manage APQP processes for new and existing programs.
- Develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, process control plans, work instructions, and gauge instructions.
- Lead root cause analysis and cross-functional problem-solving initiatives using 8D methodology to address customer and internal quality concerns.
- Perform internal QMS, product, and process audits to guarantee full compliance with IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Train plant personnel on quality inspection protocols, boundary samples, and the proper operation of measurement equipment.
