responsibilities:
- Perform material take-offs and compile detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.
- Solicit, gather, and review competitive subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and scope coverage.
- Collaborate with design teams on plan adjustments, specifications, and scope revisions.
- Issue invitations to bid, coordinate site visits, and handle subcontractor inquiries throughout the bidding process.
- Support the Chief Estimator with maintaining software updates and expanding the vendor/subcontractor database.
