Our client is searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer in Santa Clara! In this role you will visit customers and collaborate with other team members on engineering projects, managing the progress of designs. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in a electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire role with the opportunity for growth.

responsibilities:
- Assist manufacturing team with prototype and pilot builds and testing
- Interface and assist customers in qualifying new products
- Facilitate the service/repair of RF products and assist customer support engineers in resolving technical issues
- Provide regular project status updates to the manager and drive timely completion of tasks
- Diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems
- Install and maintain electrical control systems, industrial automation systems, and electrical equipment
- Communicate with internal international (Japan) team
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Preferred experience in the semiconductor industry
