Seeking a Sr Process Engineer for a high growth chemical manufacturer in the Fremont, CA area.
The Process Engineer would be responsible for Statistical Process Control (SPC) for key products, you will leverage your engineering expertise to boost first-pass yields, streamline processes, and drive cost savings. Experience with chemical synthesis and batch operations are highly desired!

responsibilities:
- Oversee critical processes, lead daily production monitoring (quality, cycle time, EHS, standards), and track SPC activities.
- Investigate product failures and out-of-control events, manage NCMRs to timely closure, and execute corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead process engineering capital projects, resolve equipment issues, and collaborate with Maintenance/Production using Management of Change (MOC) protocols.
- Author and modify Work Instructions; support pilot-to-full-scale manufacturing via batch validation, documentation, and operator training.
- Manage the equipment/instrumentation calibration program and serve as secondary support for EHS activities (waste shipments, permits, audits, system validation).
