Leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Sr Lead Buyer, this is a hybrid role.
The ideal candidate will possess procurement, supplier sourcing, contract management/negotiation experience with major CAPEX projects in a construction or an EPC environment.
This role comes with an excellent compensation plan with a base salary up to $165k plus 22% annual bonus and excellent 401k plan with a 6% match.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Primary Functions:
Sourcing/Category Management:
Closely liaise with the Group Category Management Team to ensure that best practices are shared across the company and that the plans are fully aligned with the group plans
-Lead the development of medium to long term. Category plans to provide clarity on the vision, strategy, and implementation processes ensuring value delivery (lower costs, mitigated risk, supply assurance) through detailed understanding of business requirements, supply market dynamics and TCO impacts
Supplier Management:
-Develop, evaluate and manage internal relationships to optimize companies external legal, business and financial positions
-Lead the development and maintenance of preferred supplier lists
-Develop effective and measurable supplier management methods and performance metrics are applied to all high risk and/or high value suppliers through supplier management programs
Contract Management:
-Lead the development, review, negotiation, execution, management and documentation of significant and complex contracts and contract amendments in accordance with companies policies and procedures to drive value
-Develop and plan supplier relationship and contract management to ensure suppliers meet their contractual obligations and the value expected from a contract is fully delivered throughout the lifecycle
Customer Relationship Managment:
-Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners and senior leaders to gain support and cooperation in the delivery of sourcing projects and the category plan to drive savings and performance improvement
-Work with customers to ensure an effective, collaborative view of business strategies, portfolios of projects, annual/project budgets and priorities with realistic expectations are formed on all sides
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor's degree
-7+ years of procurement experience including 3+ years of supplier management experience and 2+ years of strategic procurement experience
-Experience sourcing and negotiating contracts for construction, captial projects, facilities improvements and other capital expenditures
-CPM or CPSM certifications
