responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor combined-cycle generation equipment including GE 7HA.02 combustion turbines, HRSGs, and steam turbines from both the control room and the field.
- Optimize plant efficiency and emissions compliance using DCS, PLCs, and other control interfaces to adjust critical operating parameters.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve abnormal equipment conditions and alarms, taking swift corrective action (including overriding automatic controls) during emergencies.
- Support safety and maintenance standards by conducting routine rounds, maintaining detailed operating logs, and performing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) isolations.
- Collaborate across teams to assist with operator training, plant inspections, and ensuring total alignment with environmental and regulatory compliance programs.
