responsibilities:
- Leverage mechanical, electrical, and software skillsets to design, prototype, and fabricate complex electromechanical test fixtures utilizing CAD, sensor integration, and motor/actuator controls.
- Evaluate, improve, and develop robust, cost-effective test methods using modern technologies (including Python scripting and LabVIEW) to verify legacy and future product lines.
- Instrument, automate, and qualify test fixtures and methods to ensure long-duration reliability and rigorous life-cycle testing of medical devices.
- Author comprehensive verification and validation documents, including test methods, protocols, and reports, while maintaining strict documentation traceability.
- Partner closely with Enabling Technology and Arthroscopy teams to drive product evaluations from early experimentation through to final design verification.
