Mechanical Technician needed for immediate first shift contract role just north of Sarasota, FL. Seeking a proven mechanically inclined individual to follow SOPs for assembly of mechanical products for automation!
This person will assemble, troubleshoot, and repair high-performance automation systems using both mechanical skills.
The right person will be reliable, possess a proven mechanical mindset, have at least 2+ years of assembly experience with high attention to detail and quality work. An enthusiastic attitude and knowledge reading mechanical drawings are key to this role!

responsibilities:
- Follow SOWs for assembly of mechanical products
- Actively participate in project huddles and perform while meeting scheduled timelines.
- Understand how to level and square assemblies and other items on a product build
- Communicate clearly and effectively with other members of the team.
- Minimum of a High School Education along with 2 years related experience manufacturing assembly
- Excellent communication skills with proven reliability and attention to detail
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to read mechanical drawings 2D and 3D
- Possess computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and most other Microsoft products.
- Have enthusiastic attitude with a sense of pride and high quality
