responsibilities:
- Lead complex structural and dynamic analysis projects for reactors, internal components, and support structures to ensure strict compliance with ASME BPVC Section III codes.
- Evaluate primary and secondary stresses, as well as fatigue, in reactor internals resulting from mechanical and thermal loadings under static and transient conditions.
- Execute advanced finite element analyses (FEA) using ANSYS Workbench or APDL, leveraging programming tools like MATLAB or Python to analyze and process data.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports, calculation packages, and licensing documentation to support rigorous regulatory and design requirements.
- Partner closely with design engineers, system engineers, project managers, and external partners to deliver design activities on time and on budget.
