responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Mechanical Engineer in developing and reviewing piping layouts, equipment arrangements, piping specifications, and construction packages for capital projects.
- Apply CAEPIPE pipe stress analysis software to evaluate piping systems and ensure compliance with process, operability, and code requirements.
- Ensure all mechanical and piping designs meet process safety, operability, maintainability, and HSE standards at the chemical facility.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to mechanical and piping contractors throughout fabrication and project execution.
- Support on-site system checkout, testing, startup, commissioning, and engineering closeout documentation.
