Seeking an Electrical Engineer for a high growth Defense and Space DoW contractor in the Cypress, CA area.
The Electrical Engineer would be responsible for Hardware Design & Support: Assist in schematic capture, component selection, and circuit board layout support for mixed-signal, power, and analog electronics. Test & Evaluation: Hands-on integration, bring-up, and troubleshooting of electronic boards, sub-assemblies, and sensor systems in a laboratory environment.

responsibilities:
- Hardware Design & Support: Assist in schematic capture, component selection, and circuit board layout support for mixed-signal, power, and analog electronics.
- Test & Evaluation: Hands-on integration, bring-up, and troubleshooting of electronic boards, sub-assemblies, and sensor systems in a laboratory environment.
- Analog & Circuit Analysis: Evaluate basic analog circuitry (such as amplifiers, filters, power converters, or sensor interfaces) to support system performance and signal integrity.
- Documentation: Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation, including engineering drawings, schematics, bill of materials (BOMs), and test procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multi-disciplinary teams (Systems, Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing) to support product development from initial design through testing and production.
qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a closely related STEM field.
Security Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
Core Aptitude: Strong foundational understanding of basic electrical engineering principles (Ohm's law, circuit analysis, basic components).Hands-On Skills: Comfort using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, power supplies).Adaptability: Willingness to learn on the job, collaborate across engineering teams, and take ownership of various engineering tasks as needed.
