A leading mission-critical data center organization seeks a hands-on Facilities Manager to serve as the primary technical authority on-site. In this operational leadership role, you will own facility reliability, execute complex maintenance, and manage capital projects to ensure 100% uptime. You will directly perform high-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting while maintaining 24/7 site readiness.
A Commercial Master/Journeyman Electrician License or Master/Journeyman Mechanical/HVAC License is preferred, along with 7+ years of hands-on experience in a mission-critical or data center environment. Additionally, you need deep expertise operating DCIM/BMS platforms and authoring Methods of Procedure (MOPs), alongside active OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E certifications. Local availability for on-call rotation and emergency response is absolutely required.

responsibilities:
- Perform and lead preventive and corrective maintenance on critical power systems (UPS, generators) and cooling infrastructure (chillers, CRAH units)
- Safely execute complex electrical and mechanical isolation protocols, LOTO, and equipment switching procedures
- Diagnose hardware anomalies directly utilizing meters, thermal imaging, and BMS/DCIM controls
- Author, approve, and oversee high-risk Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)
- Act as the senior technical incident lead for site emergencies, performing post-incident triage and 24-hour root-cause analysis
- Supervise specialty contractors and govern vendor SLAs to ensure strict safety, procedural, and performance compliance
