responsibilities:
- Partner with senior management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and customers to define and implement proactive quality strategies across program lifecycle stages.
- Drive strategic and tactical alignment on quality, cost, and schedule performance while generating CORE and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) initiatives to reduce overall costs for Our Client.
- Lead cross-functional teams in root cause corrective action (RCCA), failure analysis, and risk mitigation to maintain rigorous quality standards.
- Facilitate the completion of internal and customer-required First Article Inspection (FAI) reviews to ensure complete technical and contractual compliance.
- Prepare for and actively lead customer, internal, and third-party regulatory audits to champion continuous improvement for Our Client.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in manufacturing or design program quality support.
Hands-on experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems and leading cross-functional teams in root cause, failure, and corrective/preventative action analysis.
Preferred Six Sigma/Lean or ASQ certifications, AS9102 FAI expertise, and a proven track record interfacing directly with customers and regulatory auditors for Our Client.
